16 DAYS TO GO!

Tonight I'm getting my hair done. A trial run so basically we can realize that what I want won't work and I'll have to settle for something less than perfect. Story of my life.

I got four more wedding presents yesterday. Two of them were monetary. One was the gift of an hour long massage the day before the wedding! The other was a guest book with pen and cake serving utensils from my grandfather. He and his wife are unable to make it to the wedding. Which is sad. But I'm happy they got me these particular presents. These are presents that are useful. Useful in the wedding planning process. These presents mean I don't have to run around at the last minute to try and find these items. Like I told fiance who was a bit underwhelmed by this gift "This is a very good gift."

I'm not going to lie guys, I'm not feeling the wedding planning today. The past 18 hours have a been a little rough. The stress is starting to set in. And not only with me, it seems the stress is starting to effect everyone's brains. Everyone's gone a little crazy.

18 DAYS TO GO!

Ok it's starting. The stress, that is.

I've suddenly become tired all the time. My body aches and my face is beginning to look like I'm 13 again.

I don't want to be stressed. I want to enjoy this time. I've never wanted to be a bridezilla, so I'm not going to stress myself out more by suddenly morphing into one. (quick glance into my brain...while I was typing the word "morphing" all I could think of was The Might Morphin Power Rangers, and the yellow Power Ranger screaming "Saber Tooth Tiger!" with that weird ass lisp she has. Yes, people this is my brain)

My future MIL let it slip on Sunday that my future SIL was thinking about dying her hair purple. As my head started the slow Exorcist spin, I could hear this deep voice say "DON'T DYE YOUR HAIR" only to realize that this demonic voice was coming out of me. If my future SIL does one more thing to her hair, I'm pulling a Britney and shaving it for her and giving her a wig to wear. And that's the extent of my Bridezilla-ness. (hopefully)

I really want to be a good and humble bride. While, yes this day will be all about me (ok, mostly about me and a little bit about fiance :)) I don't want to be one of those women who constantly remind people "THIS IS MY DAY" Don't you just want to slap those people?

I just don't want to be stressed. Does anyone out their have any helpful tips for me? I'm getting a massage tomorrow so that should take care of the knot between my shoulders. But other tips would be greatly appreciated.
