10 DAYS TO GO!

Wow, we're almost down to single digits. I feel like this blog is my electronic version of those paper rings you would make in kindergarten that would count down the days until Christmas. Mental note: make 10 paper rings...the satisfaction of ripping them off would feel pretty good I imagine.

So I apologize again for yesterday. Apparently the whole blogosphere was in a funk. Every blog I read had some combination of "I'm exhausted and all I want to do is crawl into PJs with a cup of cocoa and a book"

Today is a horse of a different color. (Incidentally, did you know that they put different colored jello crystals on the horse in The Wizard of Oz to make him change colors? That it was not some neat techni-color trick? The producers also learned that horses like jello crystals. The horse kept licking it off. Somewhere the descendants of that horse are cursing MGM for their jello crystal addiction)

Digression is fun, isn't it? I woke up this morning so awake and bright. I sprang out of bed to turn off my alarm clock and promptly crumpled to the floor. It took me a good 5 minutes to crawl the 5 feet to my alarm clock to shut it off. I kept cursing it and yelling at it to quiet down, I was coming.

Why did I crumple, you ask? Remember when I said I'm tensing my muscles in my sleep? Apparently I'm doing it more. My ankles were locked. When I put even the slightest bit of pressure on them, a sharp pain would shoot up my leg. Causing the aforementioned crumple.

I made my way to the shower after another grueling 5 minutes and by the time I got out of the shower I had little more than limited mobility in my ankles. Which is better than locked, I suppose.

When I told my dad about this he told me that it's genetic. That he and my aunt also have these issues. Fantastic. Genetics are fun. He did tell me that it usually goes away within 30 minutes. And for the most part he's right. I still have a dull throb but at least I can walk without looking like I'm 80.

I'm going to have really bad arthritis when I'm older aren't I?

I'm still hoping that this is all wedding stress related and that the morning after the wedding I'll wake up with the body of a 24 year old. The body I'm supposed to have. The body without all the aches and pains.

Doubtful :(

*kisses*

Wow, 10 days? Where did the time go? I'm sure it's all wedding related stress. Do you think soaking them in warm water would help relieve the cramping?

Hi! I was referred here by one of Lil Irish Lass' posts and I sure am glad that I was! I LOVED your digression about the horse. I seriously love movie tidbits like that! Very funny!
